Ted Haxel Retires, Joins Nichols Dixon as an Of Counsel Attorney

Our team at Nichols Dixon would like to congratulate Ted Haxel on his retirement, and we are proud to announce that we will continue his practice in McClain County and adding Ted to our team as an of counsel attorney. Ted served as the city attorney for Purcell and Lexington, and Greg Dixon and Chris Lind look forward to taking on this important role.

About Ted

Before his retirement, Ted was an AV Preeminent rated attorney and ran a thriving private practice, which he split 50/50 with his city attorney responsibilities. He handled civil concerns like personal injury law, probate, real estate, domestic relations, and commercial law – experience that aligns perfectly with our practice areas.

As a city attorney, Ted even drafted legislation for medical marijuana in Oklahoma.

We look forward to having Ted’s insight on our cases whenever he is not hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling with his wife, or spoiling his beloved grandchildren. He has been practicing since 1975, and he adds invaluable experience to our team.

We also look forward to serving the Purcell community on Ted’s behalf.
